Description
The Granatza grape variety is a wine grape variety widespread throughout Sardinia, but for a long time little recognized and often confused with the Vernaccia di Oristano. In fact, it is distinguished both by its morphology and genetic characteristics, while sharing with it the traditional use in the production of dessert wines. Present in the old vineyards of the island, Garnet is appreciated forconstant productivity and good oenological qualities, in particular due to the high acidity of the grapes.
