Sardinian-Modican cow

Agostino Muzzu is a guardian breeder based in Sassari who is dedicated to the protection of two native bovine breeds of great value: the Sardo-Modicana cow and the Sardinian cow. Through breeding practices solidly rooted in local tradition, Agostino cares for these animals with attention and respect, contributing to the conservation of historical genetic populations that tell the long and rich history of Sardinian pastoralism. His work values the role of native cows both in the rural economy and as a symbol of cultural identity.
